À propos de l'événement

Organized at the beginnig of Kinshasa's fieldwork, this workshop gathers the project's applicant, Dre. Stéphanie Perazzone, the PhD Student, Aline Nanko Samaké, the project partner, Prof. Albert Malukisa Nkuku and the two research assistants (TBD).

The aims are to present the context of the project, review the research questions and trained the team in  methodologies used in the Unruly Project. This kick-off meeting raises technical, practical and philosophical issues related to  both traditional and innovative approaches in ethnography. The first day is focused on semi-directed interview, ethnographic interview, participant observation, writing fieldnotes and transciptions.

The second day is dedicated to visual ethnography (participant cartography, photo-ellicitation, ethnographic picture, etc.) and ethical issue.

In short, this worshop in ethnographic methods ensures the coherence in data collection and analysis within the Urnruly Project.
